Aims & Scope
Archives of Veterinary Research publishes high quality and novelty papers focusing on Veterinary and Animal Science. The fields of study are bacteriology, parasitology, pathology, virology, immunology, mycology, public health, biotechnology, meat science, fish diseases, nutrition, pharmacology, gynaecology, medicine, surgery, genetics, wildlife, laboratory animals, animal models of human infections, prion diseases, epidemiology, and animal biology. Research on zoonotic diseases and emerging infections is greatly valued.
The journal aims for a first decision to be made within 6-8 weeks (this time is the average time as review process depends on the spare time of the reviewers so, there may be more or less than this time occur) of receipt of the submission and the Editors-in-Chief make the final decision on publication.

Archives of Veterinary Research is an open access journal means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
All articles published by Archives of Veterinary Research are made freely and permanently accessible online. All articles to Archives of Veterinary Research are posted online immediately as they are ready for publication. All articles will be assigned a DOI number (Digital Object Identifier) whereby they become searchable and citable without delay.
The articles in Archives of Veterinary Research are open access articles licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) which permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the work is properly cited.
Publishing Fees
As the cost of peer reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving articles is not recouped through subscription charges, a standard article-publishing charge (APC) is levied on all articles that are accepted for publication. The APC is a flat charge, and no additional costs are incurred, for example, by the inclusion of color figures.
For Middle- and Low-income Countries *: 3000 INR (35 USD)
For High income countries *: 200 USD
*Category will be determined as per World Bank category.
Minor English language editing will be done by journal copy-editor without any cost to the authors. However, we will ask for external copy-editing if manuscript English is not acceptable at the time of provisional acceptance.
